I've been using iBlog since 2003, but I didn't really get rolling until my big road trip in 2004. iBlog was great because I could write up a storm and when I found Internet access I could upload all the episodes. After that I moved to Prague, and iBlog has done well for me. I was excited about iBlog 2, but as the blog grew the unfinishedness of the software started rearing its ugly head. I considered asking Sarat for the source code, but in the end I wanted to go with a database-driven blogging system. I was surprised to see it has remained quiet here, because I knew there were still quite a few active ibloggers when you started this forum. I'll make sure I have another link up to the forum.

I love what you did with your blog. Very nice & elegant WP theme you built.

I still think back from time to time at the active development days and ponder about iBlog 2 could have become ... haven't heard from Sarat for the longest time, nor seen any news on his site.

Your timing dropping back by was interesting because only hours before I cleaned out a few thousand spam posts. All that spam might have contributed to things being so quiet. I've turned on posting moderation for new users, so there should be less spam going forward. Hopefully I did it right and I will be notified when a post goes into the queue.
